UberPool works as a separate mobile application. Just download it from AppStore or Google Play and use all advantages of Uber on-demand service.
UberPool is based on GPS navigation and works like Uber taxi - you enter your destination and push the button. The service immediately starts looking got the closest matched car. As soon as it finds the one you get the notification with all information about the car along with the name of the first passenger. At the end of the trip the service will charge payment from a credit card, connected with your Uber Account.
Presently UberPool is in Beta stage and works just in the USA and Canada. They say that the idea of its creation comes in collaboration with Google team. And at beta it is a sort of social experiment. Uber wants to know what kind of people will use the service, how they will interact with each other, what problems will appear. Then UberPool plans to develop guides for drivers and rules for riders. And after that the car-sharing service will be launched worldwide. First of all UberPool plans to come to China and India, as far as these are quite big crowded countries, stuffed with sightseeings, business quarters and tourists, and cheap way of travelling is very much on demand there. USA and Canada people are also do not mind to save some bucks on riding and they use UberPool with pleasure.
